Here we are, right into the 5th and final season. Chibi-Moon and Saturn are about to face off against Queen Nephirinia. Together, I believe they bring back the Sailor Senshi and together, destroy Queen Nephirinia.
Now the five inner Senshi are about 16 years old and in high school. The newest craze is the hot boy band called the Three Lights. The band is made up of three of the hottest guys in Japan. They're so famous, that even Ami is in the fan club, and her number is higher than all of the other senshi. When the big news comes that the Three Lights are going to be going to the same school as the senshi . . . lets not get into this.
Mamoru leaves to America to study in college and has to leave Usagi. Though, before he boards the plain, he gives Usagi a ring (let's all say it together . . . "AWWWWWWWWWW!").
When Usagi goes to school, she learns that Seiya Kou, Yatan Kou, and Taki Kou, are in her class (the Three Lights). Seiya is instantly interested in Usagi, but her love for Mamoru keeps a relationship from Seiya. I could list all the reasons why Seiya is better for Usagi than Mamoru is, but that would take me forever.
A new enemy comes. This enemy is named Sailor Galaxia. She is the ruler of the galaxy, and now, contolled by a being called Chaos, she wants to destroy the galaxy. She has captured several of the Sailor Senshi from different planets. They are used to steal the Star Seeds of every living person. (Does anyone other than me notice that we have a lot of stuff inside of us?? I mean, we have a Pure Heart Crystal, a Dream Mirror, and now a Star Seed?? WTF is up with that!?) Each Senshi was given braclets that have the power to live without a star seed (if yiou don't have one, you fade into oblivian) and to steal Star Seeds for Queen Galaxia.
When Usagi can't transform into Super Sailor Moon, three new senshi appear. They are the Sailor Starlights : Sailor Starmaker, Sailor Starfighter, and Sailor Starhealer. They destroy the enemy and leave.
The next time this happends, Usagi is able to turn into Eternal Sailor Moon by the help of this cute adorable girl named Chibi-Chibi. All she says is "Chibi". Well, with Sailor Moon's new powerup, she is able to destroy the enemy.
Chibi-Usa is suddenly not able to be found, and memory of her seems to descise from Usagi's family. The senshi (and here comes the outter senshi except for Saturn again) try to figure out what Chibi-Chibi is. Someone suggested that it's Chibi-Usa's daughter, or Usagi's other daughter. Setsuna explains that Neo Queen Serenity is only able to have one child, and it is not Chibi-Usa's daughter.
In the manga, Chibi-Chibi is the final version of Sailor Moon, named Sailor Cosmos. She comes to Sailor Moon as guidance and wisdome to prevent the future that was to come (I still don't understand half of it . . . but yeah . . . ). She regreted her descision of a lot of things and wanted to change the future. It didn't work so well . . .
The Sailor Starlights' identities are soon revealed as Seiya, Yaten, and Taki. When the Sailor senshi reaveal who they are, Yatan and Taki want nothing to do with them. Seiya and Usagi suggest being a team and working together, but the Starlights are here not to save to Earth, only to find their Princess Kakyuu and destroy Sailor Galaxia.
Sailor Galaxia had taken the Star Seeds of the Starlights home world, and their princess had escaped to earth. They disguised themselves as popsingers to hopefully attract Kakyuu. She is also a Sailor Senshi in the manga, but it killed. This kinda sucks 'cause I liked Kakyuu.
When they find Kakyuu in the anime, she is killed as well. We never see her Senshi form.
At a concert that was supposed to be the Starlights farewell concert, Galaxia attacked. The senshi are taken (I believe it's the same thing as the manga) to the Galaxy Couldren (please correct me if I'm wrong). The Inner senshi are killed and their Star Seeds are taken from them. Galaxia shows Sailor Moon a precious Star Seeds. She tells her the story of where the Star Seeds came from. It's from where she attacked Mamoru on the wing of a moving airplane (what a dork). He told her of the senshi of earth and that they would defeat her. Sailor Moon cries.
The outter senshi (including Saturn), Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi-Chibi Moon, and the Starlights flee. They stay in a wharehouse. The outter senshi aggree that they are going to finish off Galaxia. Sailor Moon begs them not to. They don't listen. But before they leave, Saturn asks Seiya (Sailor Starfighter) if he likes Usagi. He looks at Saturn and then at Usagi, and says, "Yes, I like Usagi, very much". (See why usagi deserves Seiya!?!?!?!?!?)
When they are givin the chance to live and stay with Galaxia, Uranus and Neptune agree. Their Star Seeds are taken from them and givin the braceletts. Pluto and Saturn are amazed by this. Uranus and Neptune take Sailro Pluto and Sailor Saturn's star seeds. Sailor Moon arrives just in time to see this. She cries.
As soon as Sailor Moon and the Starlights escape Neptune and Uranus, they meet up again. Usagi doesn't believe that they would give themselves to Galaxia, and Uranus slaps her. Uranus and Neptune attack Sailor Moon at the same time, but Seiya pushes Usagi out of the way and gets hurt himself.
As the explosion from the World Shaking and Deep Submerge (Uranus's and Neptune's attacks) ends, Sailor Starfighter and Eternal Sailor Moon crash onto a rooftop in Tokyo. Seiya holds onto Usagi to save her (now that is love! Not trying to hurt someone with a dumb ass rose!).
Just as Neptune and Uranus are going to attack the remaining senshi and finish them off, they turn to Galaixa and attack her. The find that she has no Star Seed, and their bracletts disolve back into Galaxia's hands. Just before Uranus and Neptune are about to disolve, they hold hands. It's a sad thing. And to clear up the lesbian thing, it's a friendship, they're not lesbians, friendship. Parents encurage girls to have this kind of friendship. Live.
Usagi cries as usual.
Galaxia attacks Sailor Moon. She lies on the ground. The Starlights are taunted by Galaxia on how they "didn't save their own world". They get a tad bit pissed off and combined their attacks. It scratches Galaxia. As Galaxia steals Sailor Moon's Star Seed, Chibi-Chibi says something. A pink ripple goes around the now non-Sailor Moon. It takes her into a place (I don't know where) and Chibi-Chibi turns into Sailor Cosmos. She tells Usagi that she is Galaxia's Star Seed, and tells her how Sailor Galaxia is now evil. She tells her of how Chaos was trapped into Galaxia's body to save the Galaxy. She was the only being that could do it, and when Chaos seemed to take over, she sent her Star Seed to earth to find love and joy.
she changed back into Chibi-Chibi, and then changed into a sword and told her to fight Galaxia with it.
Sailor Moon refuses, and says that with love and forgivness, Sailor Galaxia could defeat Chaos. After Galaxia turned into Chaos, and they fought for a little bit, Chaos finally gave in and Sailor Moon saved her. The Star Seeds were all returned, and Kakyuu came back to the Starlights.
In the sky, where Sailor Moon flew crying (she got these really kewl wings), the Sailor Senshi appeared, alone with Chibi-Usa and Mamoru. She cries and hugs them all.
The inner senshi, Mamoru, Kakyuu, and the Starlights say good-bye to each other on top of a roof. Seiya tells Mamoru to look after Usagi. Usagi tells them that they will always be friends and on the same side. The Starlights and Kakyuu turn into shooting stars and head back to their homeworld.
All of the outter senshi are in a car, staring at the sky. They notice a shooting star and make wishes. The series ends with Mamoru and Usagi kissing.
